I am making a baby blanket for my new niece (above picture shows my practice squares). My goal is to have it done by Nov. 1, 2009 (just in time for the baby shower). I need to knit 56 individual squares in various colors. The hardest part for me will probably be seaming all of the pieces together. I have never done anything like this before, but I am up for the challenge.Everyday I learn more and more about knitting. I am obsessed with yarn, colors, patters....well you get it. Who needs TV anymore?
They say that "Practice makes perfect" by the time I finish this baby blanket I should be a Flippin' Master in Garter Stitch.
