Fat Lip
Luckily, it wasnt as bad as it looked, and after a nice big bottle of milk, he was back to his HAPPY SELF!
Oh! My sweet little boy! One day, I am going to look back and miss your wobbly 14 month old walk. Until then, I really wish I could put you in a bubble so you never get hurt again.

Now that I feel better, I was able to upload pictures from the last few weeks; when I came across this one, I had to do a double take. Who is this young lady?

Crayon Window Hearts
First of all, we could not find a pencil shapener anywhere in this house, which is why our alternative was the potato peeler. It worked great.
We covered the wax with another sheet and gave it a quick go with the Iron (no steam).
I love how great the colors look as they blend together. Ohhh how I heart crayons!
We let the wax melt before cutting our hearts-shapes and PRESTO!

Valentine's Day Crafts
Valentines is right around the corner (aaahh!). Being that I am hosting a valentines’ day breakfast party at my house Sunday morning, I decided that I really need to get on the ball and make my house more festive. Conveniently my Mother-in-Law had a yard of this pretty v-day fabric she was not going to be able to use, so she was kind enough to give it to me. How awesome is that?!
The runner was very simple to put together. I think it took me, at most 20 minutes to iron and sew together.
Ta-da!
While I was at it, I also quickly put together this felt heart. It is made with a wire hanger and small pieces of red felt. I worked the wire hanger into a “heart-shape” and then tied the felt pieces all around the hanger. I have seen a few fellow bloggers make similar projects, and I have to admit it looked like it was going to be easier to make than it was, but those darn wire hangers do not curve or fold just the way I wanted. It will work out alright, but between you and I, this was just a bit more work than it was worth.
Oh happy day!

Dresser: Work in Progress!
and.... for the sake of my marriage I am hoping that I will be completly done this project by tomorrow night. Here I am, working on beautifying our bedroom all the while my husband whines about having to walk out to our cold garage to get clean underwear! Ugh, Men!
Okay in all fairness its been three days. Do you guys have any idea how cold a garage can be at 6 am when its not insualated? I dont really either, but it feels like its well below freezing. Its not fun. I know I should have left the clothes inside, but I guessI just didnt want a huge pile of clothes in a corner of our bedroom. blah, blah blah. As you can see its been a topic of great concern for my loved one. Ha!
Anyway, I am really enjoying this project. It’s a little MORE so work -okay, a lot more work than the night stand was, but it’s defiantly coming along nicely.
